Welcome to Mr. Ishihara's web page! I teach five classes (periods 1, 3, 5, 6, & 7) of Physical science, which is a laboratory science class that fulfills a year of laboratory science for graduation and university admittance.
I taught for 16 years in Los Angeles Unified School District (University High School), 7 years in Scottsdale Unified School District (Desert Mountain High School), 2 years next door at Brophy College Preparatory, and this is my second year here at Central High School. I am National Board Certified (2006- Chemistry) and a member of the National Science Teacher's Association and American Chemical Society. I am also an AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) teacher here at the school. My Bachelor's is from Florida State University and Master's from UCLA. |
